This is one of the first prints I ever made, and it led me to discover how much I love etching.

Thinking of menstruation and our ongoing embarrassment over this cycle, I chose to depict a woman face down, experiencing back pain as her monthly blood is collected in a cup, instead of being thrown out with the trash.
